PRIMERA REUNIÓN PRESENCIAL DEL PROYECTO GLOCAL EN NARBONNE, FRANCIA 

Los socios y socias del proyecto GLOCAL se reunieron por primera vez en Narbonne el 8 de noviembre de 2021. Los socios franceses del instituto Beauséjour fueron los encargados de la organización del evento y contó con la participación de socios procedentes de Rumanía, Reino Unido, Suiza y España.

El proyecto, cofinanciado por el programa Erasmus+, comenzó el pasado año y finalizará a finales del 2022. Durante este tiempo, las organizaciones han estado trabajando en la creación de diferentes materiales educativos, entre ellos una plataforma online. A pesar de no no han tenido la oportunidad de reunirse con anterioridad debido a la pandemia, las organizaciones han puesto en marcha todos sus esfuerzos para hacer de esta iniciativa algo productivo y satisfactorio.

GLocal tiene como objetivo concienciar a la sociedad, especialmente a los más jóvenes, sobre la importancia de cuidar nuestro planeta y proporcionarles las herramientas necesarias para combatir el cambio climático. Los socios y socias creen firmemente en el cambio positivo que puede surgir educando en el medio ambiente desde edades tempranas lo cual se verá reflejado en generaciones futuras.

Durante la reunión, los socios tuvieron la oportunidad de hablar del progreso del proyecto, del trabajo que se ha ido realizando y pudieron plantear las próximas actividades a realizar, como la plataforma educativa, la cual proporcionará material relacionado con el medio ambiente el cual puede ser utilizado por el profesorado de toda Europa, ya que será un recurso gratuito.

FIRST PRESENTIAL MEETING OF THE GLOCAL PROJECT IN NARBONNE, FRANCE

The partners of the GLOCAL project met for the first time in Narbonne on November 8, 2021. The French partners of the Beauséjour institute were in charge of the organization of the event and included the participation of partners from Romania, United Kingdom, Switzerland and Spain.

The project, co-financed by the Erasmus + program, began last year and will end at the end of 2022. During this time, the organizations have been working on the creation of different educational materials, including an online platform. Although they have not had the opportunity to meet previously due to the pandemic, the organizations have put all their efforts in motion to make this initiative productive and satisfying.

GLocal aims to raise awareness in society, especially the youngest, about the importance of caring for our planet and providing them with the necessary tools to combat climate change. The partners firmly believe in the positive change that can arise by educating about the environment from an early age, which will be reflected in future generations.

During the meeting, the partners had the opportunity to talk about the progress of the project, the work that has been carried out and were able to propose the next activities to be carried out, such as the educational platform, which will provide material related to the environment which can be used by teachers across Europe as it will be a free resource.
